This is a logo creation for a logo competition for BCTCS College.  The theme was “Read for L.I.F.E.” (Learning, Information, Fulfillment, Entertainment).  I was only provided the motto and not given any colors or theme to go by. My design displayed the idea of books. As well as graduates wearing mortar board hats appearing on top of the book holding a banner displaying the motto for read for L.I.F.E..  I believe that graduates were a very appropriate representation of what books can accomplish.  I produced this logo on the premise of web and print use in mind.

This logo could easily be produced in black and white for inexpensive printing and retain its meaning, as well as used in a web page with or without multiple colors of their choice.  Red was just a possible color, and was used as an example only.
